I've been working for a while on a piece about the electoral map. My premise was that Colorado would be this cycles turning point state ala Florida 2000, Ohio 2004. My analysis was in depth, thoughtful and ultimately useless. With one month left until the general election the electorate is starting to really tune in and voice it's discontentment with the failures of the Bush Administration. The acceleration of the finical meltdown last week was nail meeting coffin for the McCain campaign. With one month left I'm declaring this election over. Senator Obama can proceed with measuring the drapes in the oval office. In the coming weeks I'll do an in depth electoral map prediction (I went 50 for 50 in'04) which will undoubtedly see Obama over 300 electoral votes. If this were America's Top Model, he'd totally landslide. Oh wait...seems a lot of people feel that way about who they should vote for, so maybe you're right. ;) After all, he's charming!
